Transforming Scan Art: Scanning 3D Items

The first task of the Scan Art Project was, of course, to scan 3D items on a scanner. I had no idea that you could do this, so it was cool to try out and experiment with different 3D items and to see how they would react with being scanned. While 3D items like my hair and my jewelry came out relatively well when being scanned at home, I found bulkier items like a boot and tree bark came out blurry. Scanning on a more sophisticated scanner proved to create better results.
